Rob is currently a Chief Information Security Officer at a major Alabama university and has served in that same capacity in his previous two roles, both of them being very large healthcare companies.  Rob is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. He currently holds the CISSP certification and a number of others previously.  Rob has 26+ years of experience in IT with the last 20 being focused on Information Security.  Rob leads a team of security professionals responsible for developing, maintaining, overseeing, and operating security tools, processes, and policies.  Rob oversees the protection of information assets via security event management, risk management, technology reviews and incident response / digital forensics. 

Individual Data Security Posture Assessment

• Review all computing devices (computers, tablets, phones) for appropriate security configurations
  • Provide detailed written guidance on how to further harden these devices for higher level of protection
  • Implement suggested improvements as desired
• Review all home network devices (Internet connection, home alarm system, video surveillance) for appropriate security configurations
  • Provide detailed written guidance on how to further harden these devices for higher level of protection

Corporate Data Security Posture Assessment

• Provide security posture assessment questionnaire to be completed by IT staff
• Review questionnaire for potential gaps in security posture
• Provide detailed written guidance on how to improve overall security posture for the organization
• If desired, recommendations can be made for local/regional service providers to assist with needs
